Carol, a native of Southern California, resides in San Diego, with her husband, David, daughter Katie, a dog and a small collection of birds. She is a realist who paints primarily in watercolors and oils. Most of her recent works have been influenced by birds or animals, and she also enjoys painting the human figure.

Some of her clients include the San Diego Zoo, Houghton-Mifflin, and North Light Books. Her work has been recently featured in The Artist's Magazine and American Artist Magazine, American Showcase and Directory of Illustration. Carol is represented by The Liz Sanders Agency.

Besides illustrating, Carol also teaches painting, drawing and design at Southwestern College in the San Diego area. She has been active in producing fine art, and exhibits extensively throughout the United States.
